Topic 5 - Recording and Monitoring Audio

Using an audio device of your choice:

 

Conduct two 5 – 10-minute interview with a subject on a topic of your choice. 

​

Be sure to include two situations, one where you would use a lavaliere microphone and another in an environment where you’d use a shotgun microphone. 

​

Ensure that the audio is properly recorded by having the correct mic placement, a solid connection, and even monitoring so the audio does not peak and distort.

​

A successful recording will have audio maintained over -12db, no distortion, and use of two microphones, each used in a different situation.

 

Submit the unedited wav file by sharing via Google Drive, WeTransfer, or some other hosting service.
